Our sole purpose is to research, organise, and present publicly available information about gift card services so that consumers can make better-informed decisions before they buy — elsewhere.

The gift card market is large, fast-moving, and — frankly — confusing. Fees vary wildly between providers, redemption conditions are buried in small print, and promotional comparisons online are often written by the very companies they appear to evaluate. We built bittrefiil to cut through that noise. Our editorial team noticed a clear gap: consumers deserved a resource that lays out the facts side by side, in plain language, without a commercial agenda. That conviction is what turned a research project into a published platform.

Every service comparison on bittrefiil is reviewed and updated on a weekly basis. Our team manually checks provider terms, fee structures, supported regions, and any changes to redemption policies. We accept zero paid placements — no provider can pay to appear higher in our rankings, receive a more favourable rating, or be excluded from negative findings.
